Celebrating Father's Day with the Transcend Smart Sauna

As the CEO of High Tech Health, I have the privilege of working with a team that is passionate about creating innovative health solutions. Our latest creation, the Transcend Smart Sauna, is a testament to our commitment to enhancing well-being through advanced technology. This Father’s Day, I want to share a personal story about how this product has become more than just a professional achievement—it has become a heartfelt gift to my own father.

Though my father retired more than a decade ago, I had the privilege of working with him for almost a decade before that here at High Tech Health. He has always been a pillar of strength and wisdom in my life. Growing up, he encouraged my curiosity for technology, which eventually led to a degree in engineering and a career in Silicon Valley before shifting my focus to health at High Tech Health.

That transition was also inspired by him. In retirement, he developed macular degeneration, a condition that rapidly took away his sight. Despite the difficult limits this has imposed on his life, he still faces each day with the same determination he always has. Though it has strained his ability to live independently, his resilience continues to inspire me.

When we were developing the Transcend Smart Sauna, I saw an opportunity to create something truly special. Beyond the technology bringing significant ease of use for greater health benefits, I wanted to ensure that our sauna could be accessible to everyone, including those with visual impairments. This led us to integrate voice control, allowing users to operate all essential functions simply by speaking. The ability to control temperature, set timers, and choose programs without needing to see any controls has been a game-changer.

As a busy CEO balancing work and family, I’ve found my own moments of peace and rejuvenation in the Transcend Smart Sauna. It has helped me optimize my time, providing a sanctuary where I can unwind and recharge so I can be my best for my family at home and my family at work. But the true joy comes from knowing that this innovation can also improve the quality of life for my father. This Father’s Day, I am honored to gift him his very own Transcend Smart Sauna.

I’m excited for him to experience the culmination of years of design, planning, and innovation. The success of our Transcend Smart Sauna is just as much his success as it is ours.
