Not only is our sauna Designed for Detox (TM), its designed to last and look good anywhere in your home. We use clear (no knots) solid poplar wood. Poplar is an attractive, light colored wood that can go with any decor.
Besides the many detoxification advantages to solid wood (see Designed for Detox for more details), it makes for a product you can feel proud to have in your home. It also gives you the peace of mind knowing you will not be dumping it in the garage 3 years from now to hide the peeling veneer covering the particleboard of a lesser quality sauna.
The details we are probably most proud of, you might not even notice. For instance, the door is cut from the same wood that the front panel is built from. There is no reason to worry that we will ship you a sauna with a door that looks like it belongs on a different sauna.

Part of good craftsmanship is building a sauna with you in mind. We know you might not live in the same home for the rest of your life, or even that you will be happy with the sauna in the first room you set it up in. One of the benefits of a solid poplar sauna is that it weighs less than particle wood or a comparable solid wood possessing the same strength of structure. To facilitate its portability, latches securely hold it together but enable tool-less disassembly. The only tool you need is a Philips-head screwdriver to add the doorknob on its initial assembly. Most people do not remove the doorknob when they move it later.
Our heaters have the benefits of ceramic construction without the accompanying fragility or limited life. If you have moved recently, chances are something was broken in the process. With a High Tech Health sauna, you do not have to worry about whether your sauna will survive the move.
